Iceland Spar
- Iceland Spar
Locality: Creel, Chihuahua, Mexico
This stone is called the “Ice State” Stone in Japanese. It was named so, because in the past many of this kind of crystal were found in Iceland, which is called the “Ice State” in Japanese. What if the main locality of these stones was in the United States or in Germany? They might have been called “the U.S. Stone” or “the Germany Stone”… Lucky they were found in Iceland! It sounds just the right name!
